Driven by her love for the eighties, along with her band, she brings a unique electronic, cinematic sound. From tight eighties sounds inspired by The Neon Judgement and Anne Clark, to vibes inspired by Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Praga Khan, to sensitive, deep sounds in the style of SX and Massive Attack. With an eclectic mix of pulsing beats and synths, intriguing sounds and striking vocals, she creates a mystical atmosphere that captivates you instantly.
Her uniqueness lies in her expressive movements and the way she fully embodies her performance – an intense, raw journey that takes you from emotion to energy, with the perfect balance of mid tempo immersive songs and more danceable beats and strobe lights. It's the way Leni moves and her deep immersion that mesmerizes her audience.
After two years of intense work behind the scenes, Leni Ark released her debut single ‘SABOTAGE’ in January 2025. Her first EP ‘GENERATOR’ saw the light in October 2025 – a must-listen for anyone who loves boundary-pushing, eclectic music.
ABOUT
Karlien has always been passionate about music and dance. In her childhood and teenage years, she had an international career as a dancer and gymnast, which explains why movement and embodiment are such defining characteristics of her performances. After starting out in cover bands, her experience on The Voice van Vlaanderen in 2022 - where she captivated Flanders with her cover of Big in Japan - inspired her to pursue her own voice and create her own music. She spent a few years writing and working in the studio. Along the way, she discovered and developed her own style, and Leni Ark was born. With tireless motivation and undeniable energy, she carves her own path in the most authentic way.
Leni Ark is the ultimate DIY artist. Surrounded and supported by an amazing small team, she does it all herself: from writing lyrics and melodies to creating her visual identity and artwork, directing music videos and photoshoots, designing her stage outfits, developing the lighting plan for her shows, and more. Every step in her creative process reflects her passion and dedication.
The band already hit the stage of several festivals during their first summer and they're very ready for more!!!
